The Terri Lynne Lokoff Child Care Foundation (TLLCCF) was founded in August 1987 by Kay and Fred
Lokoff to honor the memory of their daughter Terri Lynne, who died tragically in an automobile
accident. Terri was an Early Childhood Education teacher dedicated to improving the quality of
child care.
A national foundation, TLLCCF continues Terri’s efforts by supporting non-sectarian, non-profit
child care programs dedicated to excellence.
As a 501(c) (3) non-profit foundation, TLLCCF’s funds have benefited thousands of children, programs,
providers and educational scholarships at numerous outstanding child care agencies and academic
institutions.
Since its inception, TLLCCF has raised over $5 million to improve the quality of child care for all
children via a variety of annual programs such as the TLLCCF National Child Care Teacher AwardsTM
sponsored by The Makers of TYLENOL®, a national program to honor dedicated child care teachers for
their commitment to children; a national campaign to create a US postage stamp to benefit child
care; $1.4 million awarded locally as Child Care Center Enhancement Grants to non-profit,
non-sectarian child care centers throughout Southeastern Pennsylvania for program improvement;
and the TLLCCF Museums to Go Child Care awards – a total of 41 centers each receiving approximately
$500 to fund age-appropriate cultural programs to visit their center.
We are now accepting applications for the 2007 TLLCCF National Child Care Teacher AwardsTM
sponsored by The Makers of TYLENOL®. This year’s awards will be held March 28, 2007. The
applications and information are available on our website, www.childcareabc.org.
